Location:
GLOVER PARK, peaceful, safe and nice neighborhood.
3-minute walk from the D2 to Dupont.
5-minute or less work to the 30s bus lines on Wisconsin Avenue that go through Georgetown and to downtown (GU, AU and GWU)
5-minute walk to dozens of good shops and restaurants (Whole food, CVS, Safeway, Subway, Pizza hut, Post office, video shop etc)
10 minutes walk to Georgetown campus
15 minutes walk to the National Cathedral.
Price:
$720 and includes all utilities -- electric, heating, water and gas. There is a phone connection in the room and you can share Internet with other tenants for $15/month. With the utilities included, it's a great price for such a nice house in such a nice neighborhood.
Moving time:
December 1 and 15th will be possible. Sign lease with landlady till May 2006. Feel free to renew. No application fee or moving fee. $720 security deposit and will be return upon lease ending.
The House:
Typical row house in Glover Park with front/back yard, AC, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Share first floor living room, dining room, kitchen and W/D in basement with two other persons. Share upstairs bathroom with one person.
The room:
Your bedroom would be on the second floor with 2 windows and 1 closet and shared bathroom. Decent size and can be furnished if desirable.
The people:
Total 4 persons live in the house: A guy at basement apt has own entrance and everything. The landlady has her own master bedroom. You and one other girl/boy.
Restrictions:
No smokers please. No pets.
I will be showing the room this week after 6pm. If you are REALLY interested, please bring the deposit with you because it goes really fast. Please email me for some pictures, the exact address and schedule a time.
